Welcome to bc1q21 (“bc1q21,” “Platform,” “Service,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the bc1q21 website, tools, software, applications, and related services.
By accessing or using bc1q21, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.
bc1q21 is a Bitcoin-native software platform designed to assist users in creating Bitcoin time-locked gifting arrangements and related smart contract transactions directly on the Bitcoin blockchain.
bc1q21 is non-custodial, open-source oriented, Bitcoin-native, browser-based, and user-directed.
bc1q21 is not a bank, financial institution, money transmitter, exchange, investment advisor, custodial wallet provider, trust company, fiduciary service, or escrow company.
bc1q21 does not hold customer funds, store private keys, manage user assets, or control Bitcoin on behalf of users.
At no time does bc1q21 take possession or control of user Bitcoin. Users remain solely responsible for seed phrases, private keys, wallet backups, transaction verification, device security, Bitcoin address accuracy, and time-lock configuration choices.
Loss of seed phrases, private keys, or transaction data may result in permanent and irreversible loss of Bitcoin. bc1q21 cannot recover lost funds, reset transactions, reverse blockchain activity, or restore access to user-controlled Bitcoin.
bc1q21 provides software tools and educational interfaces only. Nothing on the Platform constitutes financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, legal advice, estate planning advice, fiduciary services, or professional advisory services.
Users should consult qualified legal, tax, financial, and estate-planning professionals before engaging in significant financial or long-term gifting arrangements.
By using bc1q21, you acknowledge and accept the risks associated with Bitcoin and blockchain technology, including extreme price volatility, blockchain congestion, mining fee fluctuations, software bugs, wallet incompatibility, human error, regulatory changes, cybersecurity threats, device failure, loss of internet access, and future technological changes.
Bitcoin transactions are generally irreversible once broadcast and confirmed on the blockchain. Time-locked Bitcoin transactions may remain inaccessible for extended periods of time, including years, decades, or generations.
You assume full responsibility for all decisions and risks associated with creating, storing, transmitting, or redeeming Bitcoin time-lock arrangements.
bc1q21 enables the use of Bitcoin’s native time-lock functionality. Users acknowledge and understand that time-locked transactions may remain inaccessible for extremely long periods, future wallet software may change, future blockchain infrastructure may evolve, future laws and regulations may change, future compatibility cannot be guaranteed, and long-term technological continuity is uncertain.
Although Bitcoin time-locking is a native Bitcoin protocol feature, bc1q21 makes no guarantees regarding future accessibility, compatibility, or usability over extended periods of time. Once a Bitcoin transaction is signed and broadcast, it may be irreversible and impossible to modify or cancel.
You are solely responsible for verifying transaction details, confirming Bitcoin addresses, safeguarding seed phrases, understanding the consequences of time-locks, testing wallets and compatibility, reviewing blockchain data before broadcasting transactions, and complying with laws applicable to your jurisdiction.
You agree not to rely solely on bc1q21 when making financial, legal, gifting, or inheritance decisions.
bc1q21 is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, bc1q21 disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, accuracy, reliability, security, non-infringement, and continuous uptime.
We do not guarantee that the Platform will always function without interruption, that the software will remain error-free, that Bitcoin network conditions will remain stable, that future wallet software will support all transaction types, or that third-party services will remain operational.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dale Wells, bc1q21, its contributors, developers, affiliates, contractors, and operators shall not be liable for financial loss, lost Bitcoin, lost profits, missed distributions, user errors, failed transactions, incorrect wallet usage, forgotten seed phrases, blockchain delays, third-party failures, data loss, security incidents, or indirect or consequential damages.
Your use of bc1q21 is entirely at your own risk.
Certain portions of bc1q21 may rely on open-source software, Bitcoin Core, browser technologies, third-party libraries, and external wallet software.
bc1q21 does not control third-party software, infrastructure, or external wallet providers and assumes no responsibility for their functionality, security, or availability.
You agree not to use bc1q21 for unlawful activity, to violate sanctions or applicable laws, to distribute malware, to interfere with the Platform, to attempt unauthorized access, to exploit vulnerabilities, to impersonate others, or to engage in fraud or deception.
We reserve the right to restrict or block access to users who abuse the Platform or attempt malicious activity.
Your use of bc1q21 is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Because bc1q21 is designed to minimize data collection and operate in a non-custodial manner, users should still understand that internet communications and blockchain activity may involve privacy limitations inherent to public blockchain systems.

Users may not copy, reproduce, or commercially exploit proprietary branding or content without permission.
Use of bc1q21 does not create any partnership, joint venture, fiduciary relationship, agency relationship, trust relationship, or advisory relationship. You remain fully independent and solely responsible for your own actions and decisions.
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of El Salvador, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any disputes arising from use of bc1q21 shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of El Salvador unless otherwise required by applicable law.
bc1q21 reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated versions become effective upon posting to the website. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
